Automatically replacing a part in a SolidWorks assembly

Click For Summary
Automatically replacing a part in a SolidWorks assembly can be challenging and may depend on specific end conditions and application requirements. Users express uncertainty about the feasibility of this process without additional context or details. The discussion highlights the need for more information to provide accurate guidance on the capabilities of SolidWorks in this regard. Understanding the limitations of the software and the machines involved is crucial for effective part replacement. Clear specifications and requirements are essential for determining the best approach to automate this task.

Your specification is rather terse -- my immediate conjecture is no -- perhaps if you provide more information you might get a more informed answer -- I don't know SolidWorks, but I know well what machines can and cannot do.

Had my central air system checked when it sortta wasn't working. I guess I hadn't replaced the filter. Guy suggested I might want to get a UV filter accessory. He said it would "kill bugs and particulates". I know UV can kill the former, not sure how he thinks it's gonna murder the latter. Now I'm finding out there's more than one type of UV filter: one for the air flow and one for the coil. He was suggesting we might get one for the air flow, but now we'll have to change the bulb...
