Carbon fiber, 3D printed parts, multiple rotations. Numerous small refinements of the design to get to a 776 mph release. Your castle remains unmenaced, as the payload weighs a mere 4 grams. Pretty good though for a hobbyist. "I've been building trebuchets from the age of 12."

Overall a very refined machine. One bit I liked was the tapered winding drum. Years ago I bought an old pendulum 'School' clock. It has a Fusee movement which compensates for the drop in torque from the mainspring by using a light chain, wrapped round a long groove on a tapered drum. Exactly the same idea and it gives very good time keeping over a full week. Of course, a long case clock with a falling weight would not need this compensation. Nothing new under the Sun - they say.
