Biology Help !

Female cimpanzees often mate with more than one male. The different males' sperm cells race each other to reach the egg first. Both Modja and Tatu have mated with Tanu in the last hour.

a) In which part of a sperm cell and an egg cell are the genes found?

b) What do genes do?
