Google, searching something like collision detection with vector curves

An archer shoots an arrow towards a flying goose , will it get hit

If you really want to ask that question, you should start a thread in the Classical Physics or similar forum, and post what you have found in your reading so far. There is a classic projectile motion question about where to aim to hit a monkey falling out of a tree, for example...
