MultiSim 10 does not include a pre-built center-tapped transformer among its virtual components. Users can create one by connecting two L2 components in series, with the center tap being the node between them. This method allows for the simulation of a center-tapped transformer effectively. For further guidance, a reference link is provided for additional context on transformer configurations. This approach enables users to achieve the desired functionality within MultiSim 10.

Does MS10 have a center-tapped transformer as one of its virtual component? How do I get it? Please let me know. Thank you

Cheers

I am trying to understand how transferring electric from the powerplant to my house is more effective using high voltage. The suggested explanation that the current is equal to the power supply divided by the voltage, and hence higher voltage leads to lower current and as a result to a lower power loss on the conductives is very confusing me. I know that the current is determined by the voltage and the resistance, and not by a power capability - which defines a limit to the allowable...
