Can Quantum Laser Sintering Revolutionize 3D Printing?

AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on a patented technology involving a "light engine" capable of multiplexing a single laser beam into millions of microlasers, which is linked to quantum principles. The original poster seeks clarification on how this technology operates effectively at 3kW. A forum member requests links to the patent and additional resources to better address the inquiry. The original poster provides a link to an article about the technology but notes that the patent has not yet been published. The conversation highlights interest in the potential implications of this technology for 3D printing.

Hi.
Me personally was touched by one patented technology "light engine with the ability to multiplex a single laser beam into several million microlasers". This technology use a sacral term "quantum".
I try to understand how it is possible with 3kW. Thank to yours ideas and attention.
Have a nice day,

Welcome to the PF.

Can you please post some links to the patent and to the other reading you have been doing about your question? That would help us out a lot in trying to reply to your questions. Thanks.

I would like to use a pentaprism with some amount of magnification. The pentaprism will be used to reflect a real image at 90 degrees angle but I also want the reflected image to appear larger. The distance between the prism and the real image is about 70cm. The pentaprism has two reflecting sides (surfaces) with mirrored coating and two refracting sides. I understand that one of the four sides needs to be curved (spherical curvature) to achieve the magnification effect. But which of the...
