Cant understand this line in the book(semiconductor nightmare 3)

    what is n*v*dt*A?
    v*dt is a certain distance
    there is no n*v*dt electrons
    the number of electrons is n
    n*v*dt*A is just some volume multiplied by n
    its not the amount of electrons.

    Yes, but remember that "n" is the number of electrons per unit volume.
