Hi, my supervisor has asked me to decide upon a suitable topic for research work in my thesis-based Masters. I have checked out his recent papers, and I find that I am interested in research topics that he used to work on 6 or 7 years ago, but does not work on anymore.

Is it alright to ask him if I suggest to him research topics that he does not work one anymore, but used to work on eight to nine years ago?

You should not have this kind of hesitation to ask someone who is your supervisor this type of question.

Zz.

Oh, so you mean it's alright to ask him this question?
