Concern has to do with transferring colleges

Hello everyone
My concern has to do with transfering. I am currently a freshman in college finishing up my second semester. I recently have gotten accepted to Colorado School of Mines for Engineering Physics. I am very excited, scared, and nervous all at the same time. My biggest concern is failure. From what I have heard it is insanely difficult. I do plan to give it my all, if that includes not having a social life. Should I be concerned? Any words of advice?
