Show that y= 1/(x2 - c) is a one parameter family of solutions of the differential equation dy/dx + 2xy2 = 0

This might sound like a stupid question, but am I just suppose to find the derivative of y and plug that into the differential equation and see if the solution is zero? Is that what they mean by "show"?
