Difference between Master of Engineering and Master of Science degrees

I'm not in the stage of choosing between one or the other yet, but have not seen a good explanation of the difference between these two degrees. Can someone explain the difference between a Master of Engineering degree and a Master of Science degree? What are the pros/cons of them, and if you have one or the other, why did you choose it?

One is thesis, the other is non thesis. Thats it.
