Dynamometer Principle & Operation | Load Testing Accuracy

Click For Summary
Eddy current dynamometers are utilized for load testing motors and gearboxes, functioning based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. They create a load through the interaction of magnetic fields, allowing for precise measurement of torque and power output. Load testing accuracy is influenced by factors such as calibration, environmental conditions, and the dynamometer's design. Understanding these principles is crucial for effective testing and performance evaluation. For further details, refer to the provided Wikipedia link.

Dear all

The eddy current dynamometers are used to load testing of motors and gearboxes. Can anybody explain the principle and operation of dynamometers and load testing accuracy.?

Thanking u

Had my central air system checked when it sortta wasn't working. I guess I hadn't replaced the filter. Guy suggested I might want to get a UV filter accessory. He said it would "kill bugs and particulates". I know UV can kill the former, not sure how he thinks it's gonna murder the latter. Now I'm finding out there's more than one type of UV filter: one for the air flow and one for the coil. He was suggesting we might get one for the air flow, but now we'll have to change the bulb...
