Electromagnetics Textbook w/Solution Manual or CD - Intermediate Level

Click For Summary
SUMMARY

The discussion focuses on the search for an intermediate-level Electromagnetics textbook that includes a solutions manual or accompanying CD for problem-solving. The user has already utilized "Schaum's Outline" and "Introduction to Electrodynamics" by David J. Griffiths, expressing a preference for additional resources to practice problems. The mention of easily accessible solutions manuals online raises ethical concerns regarding copyright. The user seeks legitimate resources to enhance their understanding of Electromagnetics.

PREREQUISITES
  • Familiarity with Electromagnetics concepts
  • Understanding of problem-solving techniques in physics
  • Knowledge of textbook resources in engineering education
  • Basic research skills for locating academic materials
NEXT STEPS
  • Research "Electromagnetics" textbooks with solutions manuals, such as "Engineering Electromagnetics" by Hayt and Buck
  • Explore "Electrodynamics" textbooks that include problem sets and solutions, like "Classical Electrodynamics" by Jackson
  • Investigate online platforms for legitimate academic resources and solutions
  • Learn about copyright laws related to educational materials and solutions manuals
USEFUL FOR

This discussion is beneficial for physics students, educators in engineering, and anyone seeking to enhance their understanding of Electromagnetics through structured problem-solving resources.

I am looking for an Electromagnetic textbook that has a solution manuel or a CD with selected solution of problems available so I can work through and compare the answers. I have the Schaums already. I also have the Ulaby textbook that have the CD. I just need one more book to workout more problems. Prefer an intermediate level. I can use an ElectroDynamics textbook also. The book don't have to be good, just have to have the solutions.

Thanks

I like Introduction to Electrodynamics by David J. Griffiths, but that's because I have a physics background. The solutions manual for instructors is...shall we say easily obtainable online in a not-so-legitimate pdf version. ;-)

Edit: If advocating the illegal procurement of copyrighted material is against forum rules, I would ask the moderator to simply delete my second sentence above and please not to ban me (since I have a really good track record on these forums and have never done anything wrong before).

Thank you, really appreciated. I sign on to Cranster already.
