So if you clicked into this post, I am interested, what is the precise meaning of the "Care" emoticon/emoji in the available Reaction emoticons available to us on physicsforums? I mean, the heart-shaped one with the white strip going diagonally through it? I DID try a brief search on internet but nothing found giving any clarity.

BTW, Facebook has very similar emoticons. I would use the "Care" emoticon for some of the posts in the Abilities Expo group that I follow, for example. The Abilities Expo series of conventions around the US help folks with disabilities connect with companies that provide mobility assist devices as well as other products and services that can help them. In my book, that rates a "Care" emoticon instead of a simple "Like" emoticon.

I cannot make an image of what I want to show using snipping-tool. The delay is killing effectiveness. I cannot make the delay allow me to click on the emoji tool to open the selections set of emojis. I believe I have another way but it is much much longer to do. See there Greg's announcement was in year 2023 but the selection of images seems to have been modified since then. I may change my mind what I want to do about giving a "Reaction" to a post.

Thanks @weirdoguy. I don't know how you were able to make that. There it is! The number-5 image, red heart shape with white strip through it. "Care" emoji. One of the current on-forum topics is a discussion of difference between UK and US educational system and selections of courses. I gave there just my "Reaction" as the "Care" "Wow" emoticon. I felt the discussion there was interesting. Unsure if my best choice for a reaction would be "Wow" or "Care". A problem I find with choosing an emoji is, "Just exactly what is he who "Reacts" trying to say?

I am trying to find that topic; having trouble finding it now.
OK found it. https://www.physicsforums.com/threads/taking-longer-to-complete-the-degree.1080829/#post-7266369

On my Windows 10 laptop I just use the Windows-Shift-S key combination to enable the Snapshot and click-drag to take the Snapshot. What device and OS are you using?

The meaning of a given emoticon is subjective and somewhat fluid. They can mean different things in different contexts and to different people.

That being said, I usually use a care emoticon to express something to the effect of "I feel your pain."

I tried what you said but the emoticon selection goes away. Dead-end!

Keep your mouse hovered over the Like/emoticons while you do the Windows-Shift-S shortcut...

It's been a while since I used that keyboard button, but is it shift-PrtSc that lets you click-drag for a focused screenshot?

There's prolly some key combos. But just the button starts the app and then I can choose what type of grab i want. Usually just a rectangle.

Interesting way of putting it since it implies that if I had NOT clicked on this post, you would NOT be interested ...

Which is technically correct, since if you didn't click in, you would not know what symbolipoint is asking, and it follows that he would not be interested in you have to say about some unrelated subject.

As far as I am aware that's W11 thing, not W10. Under W10 all the PrtScr does it takes a screenshot of whole screen area

which means 4849*2773 pixels if you have a multimonitor desktop configured to follow the setup of your Universe Control System

I had this wrong. It's Alt-PrtSc not shift-, and it copies the active window instead of the whole screen.
