I am working on a motorcycle dynamics problem. I have written the equations of motion in matrix form in matlab (and mathcad). It is a 4 degree of freedom system, so I have a mass, damping and stiffness matrix all 4X4. I am able to find from these matrices the natural frequencies, and damping ratios. However I need to find the damping coefficients for each of the natural frequencies. Can I somehow convert my ratios to coefficients? Is there more matrix math that I need to do?(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
