mass per unit volume as i know .

Right, so if you are given a mass of 3.85 kg and a volume of 480 cm3, what would be the mass per unit volume?

how can you work it out?

Were you taught the concept of density and the formula associated with it?

If meter per second means 1 m divided by 1 s, what what mass per unit volume give?

its p=m/v how can I find the density?

what do m and v represent in your equation?

mass and volume...

Good. And you are told mass = 3.85 kg and volume = 480 cm3, so if you put those values into your formula, what do you get?

I have to divide them? Then it says that gold has a density of 19,000kg/m3 . Is the throphy made out of real gold

Yes you have to divide them. If you are given those values and your density doesn't match up to 19,000 kg/m3, then it isn't made out of real gold.

so 3.85 divide 480 = 8.02083333 <--- density... so not real gold

Yes, but don't forget your units. You divided kg by cm3, so your units are kg/cm3
