Studying Finite element analysis for Electromagnetism

Click For Summary
The discussion highlights the availability of resources for finite element analysis (FEA) in structural dynamics, particularly referencing Jürgen Bathe's materials from MIT. However, there is a noted lack of instructional content specifically for finite element analysis in electrodynamics and electrostatics. The user seeks recommendations for educational materials, especially videos, to enhance their understanding of FEA related to electromagnetism. Suggestions include exploring tutorials and simulation videos for software like COMSOL and ANSYS, although the user expresses concern that many of these resources are product demonstrations lacking mathematical depth. They request materials that focus on the mathematical foundations of electromagnetism FEA, referencing specific academic texts and papers that align with their learning goals.

HI, initially I would like to put into words that there are sufficient resources, books or lecture videos on YouTube related to finite element analysis especially for structural dynamics (for instance JURGEN BATHE in MIT). But I would like to make you sure that there NO lecture videos or other explanatory material for FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS FOR ELECTRODYNAMICS OR ELECTROSTATICS also I really need to dig important informations out of that topic. Therefore could you tell or advise me what I should do in order to make good start and improve myself about finite element analysis for ELECTROMAGNETISM. ( for instance you may suggest some lecture videos or explanatory books but videos would be very nice)

Maybe look for tutorials and simulation videos for COMSOL and ANSYS:

https://www.comsol.com/models/rf-module

http://www.ansys.com/products/electronics

Thanks for responses, but those are product demonstration, they try to advertise their products there no any mathematical structure. I aim to learn mathematical basis and model of electromagnetism finite element analysis using material just like this link , so could you provide me with the material which resembles the mathematical content of video link I mentioned above?

Hi all, Hope you are doing well. I'm a current grad student in applied geophysics and will finish my PhD in about 2 years (previously did a HBSc in Physics, did research in exp. quantum optics). I chose my current field because of its practicality and its clear connection to industry, not out of passion (a clear mistake). I notice that a lot of people (colleagues) switch to different subfields of physics once they graduate and enter post docs. But 95% of these cases fall into either of...
