Dear all,i have recently been provided a task of designing a basic gear box for a vehicle having following engine specifications:
127cc,
max torque: 7.8N-m
Max. RPM: 3200
How do I proceed for this? Please guide me what all additional information is required for this calculation and what all do I need to find out or calculate to come to the final solution? Only process guidance would be enough.
Thanks and Regards to all.

I presume that this is input to the gearbox information, without knowing what you want to achieve, eg max speed, max acceleration and some details about the mass of the vehicle, it's difficult to give any useful help.
