Click For Summary

Discussion Overview

The discussion revolves around ideas and designs for gravitational machines, exploring various interpretations and concepts related to gravity-powered devices. Participants share their thoughts on different types of machines, including traditional mechanisms and speculative technologies.

Discussion Character

  • Exploratory
  • Debate/contested

Main Points Raised

  • One participant expresses interest in developing a gravitational machine but indicates a need for further study before experimentation.
  • Another participant suggests that a gravitational machine could refer to something like a rocket engine.
  • There is a mention of old-style clocks utilizing weighted drive chains as a form of gravitational machine.
  • A participant advocates for hydro power as a reliable form of gravity-based energy generation.
  • Some participants question whether the original poster is seeking encouragement for their idea, suggesting skepticism about the feasibility of such machines.
  • Discussion includes a humorous remark about "graviton emitters," with one participant joking about their malfunctioning device.
  • Another participant suggests waiting for clarification from the original poster regarding their specific intentions with the gravitational machine concept.
  • There is mention of a previous thread where the original poster claimed to be building a machine to cancel and control gravity, but details were withheld.
  • One participant notes that the thread may be a duplicate of another discussion.

Areas of Agreement / Disagreement

Participants express a range of interpretations regarding what constitutes a gravitational machine, leading to multiple competing views. The discussion remains unresolved, with no consensus on the specific type of machine being referenced or its feasibility.

Contextual Notes

Some assumptions about the nature of gravitational machines are not fully articulated, and there are unresolved questions about the original poster's intentions and previous claims.

Does anyone have any good ideas and designs of such a machine. I have one, but I still need to study some other things before I start experimenting on the subject.

Talking about gravitational machines!

What sort of "graviational machine" are you talking about? Something like a rocket engine...?

Maybe an old-style clock with the weighted drive chains?

Oh, yeah, that kind of gravity machine. Well I'm a big fan of hydro power.

That's certainly the easiest and most reliable form.
Unless, of course, he's looking for an anti-gravity machine, in which case he's in absolutely the wrong site.

All this guy's posts are about a gravity machine - I think he's waiting for an ecnouraging response, I think he's going to be disapointed.

what do you don't have a graviton emitter? i have like 5

I had one but the batteries ran out and so it fell of the earth.

How about we wait until Red gets back to clarify the question? A gravity powered machine is perfectly acceptable (as in Russ' example of a hydro-electric generator or mine of a clock).

Because in his other thread he claims to be building a machine to cancel and control gravity but won't tell us any details in case we steal it!

Oh... I'm glad that I missed that one.
