Discussion Overview

The discussion explores the potential connection between gravity and neutrons, questioning whether gravity could be a result of neutrons attracting each other. The scope includes speculative ideas and theoretical considerations related to gravity.

Discussion Character

  • Exploratory, Debate/contested

Main Points Raised

  • One participant proposes that gravity might be the result of neutrons attracting each other, describing it as a random thought without supporting evidence.
  • Another participant asserts that gravity is explained by the theory of General Relativity, suggesting a more established framework for understanding gravity.
  • A third participant points out that hydrogen, which has no neutrons, is still affected by gravity, implying that the relationship between gravity and neutrons may not be straightforward.
  • A note indicates that several posts violating forum rules regarding personal theories and speculation have been removed from the thread.

Areas of Agreement / Disagreement

Contextual Notes

The discussion includes speculative claims and references to established theories, but lacks detailed exploration of the assumptions or definitions involved in the arguments presented.

TL;DR
Could the mysterious force of gravity be the force of neutrons being attracted to each other? (There is nothing to suggest this it was a random thought that occurred to me this morning.)

Gravity is explained by the theory of General Relativity. That's a good place to start.

Hydrogen is affected by gravity. It has no neutrons.
