State wether atom is in ground or excited state.

Homework Equations

C.1s²2s²2p⁶3s²3p⁶4s²3d⁶

The Attempt at a Solution

A. Ground because all are filled in order.
B.Excited because the 5s sub-shell isn't quite full.
C.Ground as all are filled in order.



Can someone check that i have this correct and if not please explain to me what I've done wrong. Thanks!

5s is full. But you are probably on the right track.
