GSview and Ghostscript to open the PostScript files

I was working with GSview and Ghostscript to open the PostScript files, but had some troubles by intalling the program. However, is there a better solution for viewing PostScript files?

In Windows, Ghostscript is probably the best, and universally recommended, choice of viewing PS files. Maybe someone can help you with the installation problems, and it might be well documented in the web.

I run Linux, and the Evince document viewer comes along with the distro.

Install Ghostscript, then install GSview [which finds the Ghostscript installation]. Accept all defaults. (Of course, you should be using a compatible pair of Ghostscript and GSview.)
