How did you find PF?

I know of this place due to reading Micromass's articles via Google search on self-studying mathematics!

Hello! It's nice to meet you! I used to study with a few peers in Discord a few months back but got into a disagreement with my tutor, and now wanted to continue my pre-existing self-studies elsewhere. I have a strong interest in in mathematics and I am currently doing the following textbooks at my own pace.

• Bloch's Real Numbers & Real Analysis.
• Anderson's A First Course in Abstract Algebra.
• Berberian's Linear Algebra.
• Silverman's A Friendly Introduction to Number Theory.
• Hrbacek's An Introduction to Set Theory.
• Blitzstein's Introduction to Probability.

My hope is to continue these books if possible but also forgive me if I am kind of slow on the pick up. While I am not entirely sure what goal I aim to do I just know I have some "sequels" to follow through later on, provided everyone is alright with it! Lastly, I am more than open to how to improve my self studies and I really look forward to doing these books with you guys!

Self-study can be tricky for the lack of control instances to guide you. I hope we can provide such guidance. If you are stuck, then ask us. It's way better than getting frustrated!

Hello! Thank you! I am just unsure how I would do the sharing bit here let alone pick up where I left off from these books. However, I am open for how people tend to do here

PF will can you in your self-study endeavours: it helped me a lot with mine! As for how to do the sharing bit... just read a few threads, post a few threads... and you'll get the hang of it :)
