TL;DR
Attended a talk about quantum applications (computing and cryptography). Curious about how quantum theory impacts medical physics.
Hello,

I recently attended a physics event where applications of quantum theory in the modern world were presented, such as quantum computing and quantum cryptography. It made me wonder: How does quantum physics contribute to medical physics? Are there direct applications in imaging, diagnostics, or treatment that are already being used or researched?

Thank you!

Uh ... have you ever heard of a PET scan? How about an MRI scan?

Did you do ANY research on your own about this? I mean, how hard can it BE?
