How do you pronounce PNAS?

How does one pronounce PNAS (as in the "Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences")? Do you guys call it "peenas?" Or do you guys drop the 'p' and just call it "Nas?" Or do you actually spell it out P.N.A.S.?

Rather, you are to use the "praPNel" pn-sound at the start.

I'd probably say "Proceedings of the NAS". If one use p - nas, then only someone familiar with the proceedings would understand about what one is talking.

Or one could accent the second syllable and say pa NAS, which sounds a bit like panache.
