How do you relate space&time and matter&energy?

    what is the relationship between them? if only one of them didn't exist, would all the rest also not exist?

    Matter and energy are in spacetime. Matter is one type of energy. Energy deforms spacetime and spacetime determines how matter and energy moves (general relativity).
