Yes ... but there are a number of ways this occurs and it gives rise to photons of different energy levels

have you actually googled this ? ... How is a Photon being created?

how about doing so, then come back with questions on anything your didn't understand
Provide the links to those places so we can see what you have been reading  Dave

1. What is a photon?

A photon is a fundamental particle of light and electromagnetic radiation. It is considered to be both a particle and a wave, and has no mass or charge.

2. How is a photon created?

A photon is created when an atom or molecule undergoes a change in energy level, causing an electron to jump to a higher energy level. When the electron returns to its original energy level, it releases a photon of light.

3. Can photons be created naturally?

Yes, photons are constantly being created naturally through various processes such as radioactive decay, thermal radiation, and bioluminescence.

4. Can humans create photons?

Yes, humans can create photons using various methods such as lasers, LEDs, and other light-emitting technologies.

5. How does the creation of photons relate to the speed of light?

The creation of photons is directly related to the speed of light, as photons travel at the speed of light. When a photon is created, it immediately begins to move at the speed of light in a straight line until it is absorbed or scattered by another particle.
