SUMMARY

The discussion focuses on calculating the weight of dielectric materials, specifically PVC, DOP (Dioctyl Phthalate), and carbonate, required for a project. The user specifies properties such as tensile strength (16), elongation (300), density (1.45), and hardness (78) for the dielectric materials. The goal is to determine how to calculate a total of 200 kg of these materials based on the provided properties. Clarifications regarding the types of carbonate and the role of DOP in PVC are also sought.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of dielectric materials and their properties
  • Knowledge of material density calculations
  • Familiarity with PVC and its additives like DOP
  • Basic principles of material science related to tensile strength and elongation
NEXT STEPS
  • Research how to calculate material weight based on density and volume
  • Learn about the role of DOP in enhancing PVC properties
  • Investigate different types of carbonate used in dielectric applications
  • Explore material property testing methods for dielectrics
USEFUL FOR

This discussion is beneficial for material scientists, chemical engineers, and professionals involved in the formulation of dielectric materials, particularly those working with PVC and its additives.

Hi
I have a the problems!
i need this materials for dielectric :
1.pvc (Kg)
2.dop (Kg)
3.carbonate (kG)

so, i Specify this propertise for dielectric :
1.T(Tensile strength) =16
2.E(elongation) =300
3.Density=1.45
4. H(Hardness)=78

now, I need to calculate 200 Kg materials for dielectric with told propertise!
How to calculate?
please help
thanks

Welcome to PF.

What is dop ?
What type of carbonate ?
Is carbonate a filler ?

tnx for answer.

=> Carbonate
=> DOP oil for pvc
These are Ingredient dielectric.
