SUMMARY

The orifice plate area of 0.0058 ft² corresponds to a diameter of 1.025 inches, which is calculated using the formula for the area of a circle. This area is essential for determining the orifice coefficient in fluid dynamics applications. The calculation confirms that 0.0058 ft² is indeed the correct area for a circle with a diameter of 1.025 inches, demonstrating the importance of accurate mathematical conversions in engineering contexts.

I have a diameter of orifice is 1.025 inches and it says the Plate Area is 0.0058ft ^2 how is this answer received? Ill be using it to find orifice coefficient I don't understand why its 0.0058

0.0058 is the area of a 1.025 inch circle expressed in square feet. Do the math, you'll find they are equivalent.

ah yes brain fart lol I was running on like 3 hrs of sleep in 3 days. Thank you sometimes you need a little help on the simplest things!
