The forum discussion revolves around solving the riddle of making 50 cents using exactly four coins without utilizing quarters. The correct combination identified is one nickel (5 cents) and two dimes (10 cents each), totaling 25 cents, which does not meet the requirement. The consensus is that it is impossible to achieve 50 cents with the given constraints, as the only logical solution would involve using a quarter, which is prohibited. Participants emphasize the humorous nature of the problem and the importance of clear communication in logic puzzles.

I think it is ok...

One nickel (5 cents) + Two dimes (10+10 cents) + ONE Quarter (250 cents).

As you can see, I've used just ONE quarter! (instead quarter's)

i was hoping you would show logic to show what must be correct, and point out why it must be what you said, but i gusse you must have heared this one before :/

logic to show...?! C'mon, the conclusion is obvious: there isn't a different way to make 50 cents using 4 coins.

I just had to read 3 or 4 times to get
- it was a "funny problem" ,
- and I couldn't "use quarter's"...

It took about 3 minutes to solve this problem.

Well. if you really like logic problems, try to solve this one:
