AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on proving that (sqrt(2))^3 is an irrational number. It emphasizes that if a number 'a' is rational, then a^3 should also be rational. The conversation references Euclid's proof of the irrationality of sqrt(2) and seeks a step-by-step demonstration of this proof. Additionally, there is a suggestion that computer science methods could be utilized to assist in the proof. Resources such as Wikipedia and a specific website are mentioned for further exploration of the topic. The user expresses a need for clarity and detailed explanation in the proof process.

If you think this can be proved by computer science, I can see why!

It should be very simple to prove that if a is a rational number, then so it a3. Do you know Euclid's proof that \sqrt{2} is irrational?

well i need to prove the whole statement step by step how u proved it is irrational!

use Irrational_check(sqrt(2)^3)

And they sure don't go back on. So, in the absence of a longer-term solution that might involve a replacement, is there any way I can activate the power button, like with a paperclip or wire or something? It looks...
