If wavelength changes does speed change

  1. Nov 25, 2014 #1
    1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data

    if
    wavelength changes does speed change
    (in standing waves)

    2. Relevant equations

    velocity = wavelength * frequency
    3. The attempt at a solution
    i think it does because the wavelength changes so the speed will also change
