Image/video processing project ideas?

Ok, so I'm about to start my final year project for engineering at university and I'm planning to do it in image/video processing, so does anyone perhaps have an interesting project idea (I have a few of my own, but would like to hear what other like minded people have to say)

Look into a project involving wavelet. They have a whole bunch of different applications and would give you a wide range of options.

Deconvolution. There are some codes in existence, but what's out there could be better.

Spectral unmixing would also be useful and interesting.
