Images not allowed in the Sci-Fi forum?

Just tried every technique I know to upload a pic.
This one is on my server and just posted as a image URL:

But all I see is View Attachment.

Are images not allowed in the Sci Fi Forum?

Looks like it's not just in SciFi -- my image in the EE forum is also not showing at the moment...

Have you learned about "SCR Latchup" yet? Are you familiar with this view of the thyristor equivalent circuit?

Who is "you"? I tried both uploading from my C:\ drive and Copy/Paste from a website.

Hmm, now it seems to be working with Copy/Paste, so maybe NVM for my report...

Sorry, I can't parse that. A thyristor is just a PNPN structure, which is basically the same as the two transistors connected in the stacked format that I showed previously.

OK, my image is now visible - and I didn't change anything. So it was some weird state the forum was in temporarily - not something I did or didn't do.

I see some errors in the backend relating to our image compressor. Maybe that was cleared up :)

I tried uploading images a few times - including one today - where I was getting an error. Today, I tried with an uploaded URL (at that point it was in the preview), then by saving the image on my computer (gif, png, jpg) and uploading it and, finally, uploading a screenshot of the image as a jpg and I still had an error. Finally quit.
