Hi,

When using 3 power meters to measure a 3 phase resistive load, I found that each of the power meters showed a pf of exactly 1.00. However, on one phase I was getting a reactive power value. How is this possible? Is this likely to be the sign of a faulty meter or similar?

Could you post a sketch of the setup? Include the power source, how the meters are connected, and what instrument you are seeing a "reactive power value" on...
