Homework Statement

How do Initial and Final Kinetic Energy depend on each other?

Homework Equations

The Attempt at a Solution

Do they remain equal? For example for the same mass m, can we write
KE1 = KE2
1/2 m v1^2 = 1/2 m v2^2

What if work is done on the mass?

What if there is a change in potential energy ?
