AI Thread Summary
The user encountered an installation issue with a Texas Instruments graphing calculator program, receiving an error message about being unable to copy a driver file due to potential disk space issues. Suggestions for resolving the problem included defragmenting the computer, logging in as an administrator, and manually copying specific DLL files to the Windows directory while setting them to read-only. After following these steps, the user successfully installed the program but struggled with its functionality. They sought guidance on using TI Connect and Graph Link, specifically for the TI-83+ calculator, while also questioning compatibility with Windows XP.

Have you tried defragging your computer?

no i haven't and i also forget what that is , quick explanation please...?(and how)

Log onto your computer as an administrator and try to install it. If it still doesn't work, copy over Xobglu16.dll and Xobglu32.dll from the CD to your Windows folder and right-click each, click Properties, and change them both to read-only. After that, try installing the program again.

Typing in something like "reformat c:\\" should fix most any problem you have.
