Is it a good first calculus book? Feynman used and liked it. it especially made for self study and that's what I need...did any of you use it? Is there something better?
"Calculus for the Practical Man" is a highly recommended introductory calculus book for self-study, endorsed by Richard Feynman. While it is suitable for beginners, other notable alternatives include the Spivak calculus series, which is appreciated for its rigor, and Demidovich's mathematical analysis book, known for its comprehensive exercises and foundational theory. The latter is considered more challenging but valuable for those seeking a deeper understanding of calculus concepts.
PREREQUISITESStudents, self-learners, and educators seeking effective resources for mastering calculus concepts and problem-solving techniques.
