SUMMARY

Chemical engineering is not considered ridiculously hard, but it does involve a significant amount of physics alongside chemistry, which some students find boring. The integration of these disciplines is essential for understanding the complexities of chemical processes. Students who enjoy chemistry may find value in pursuing a degree in chemical engineering, despite the challenges presented by the physics component.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of basic chemistry principles
  • Familiarity with fundamental physics concepts
  • Knowledge of chemical processes and reactions
  • Interest in engineering applications of science
NEXT STEPS
  • Research the curriculum of accredited chemical engineering programs
  • Explore the role of physics in chemical engineering applications
  • Investigate career opportunities for chemical engineers
  • Learn about the integration of chemistry and physics in engineering design
USEFUL FOR

Prospective chemical engineering students, educators in chemistry and physics, and individuals considering a career in engineering who have a passion for science.

Is chemical engineering ridiculously hard? If i really enjoy chemistry would chem engineering be a good choice?

Not ridiculously hard, but pretty boring. Its like chemistry mixed with a lot of physics.

What do you mean? I'm interested in going to Chemical Engineering too, but I did not expect it to have a lot of physics or be boring.
