yes, it seems somewhat plausible. But I am not sure how the human race will go from being composed of cells to being purely injection-molded plastic organisms. That's a big step.

LOL! I remember reading that story years ago and being so dissapointed to find out it was a hoax. The "ravenous man-eating Pliocene clams" part just slayed me!
