Dear friends,

I need some counseling that's why I post this question here. I'm a 2nd year spanish undergraduate student and I would like to join the Society of Physics students, which belongs to the American Institute of Physics. However, before I do it I would like to know if it's a good idea.

In my faculty students don't like to discuss interesting aspects of physics, People just attend classes and take exams. I ignore what these kind of American societies are like. I don't know if it would help me in my education.

Thanks in advance for the information you could provide.
