Is using msn messenger safe? Is it vulnerable to attack from hackers?

Well, since it is a product from microsoft, I expect it will receive a lot of critics ~ :smile:

I use MSN messenger. I like it. I have gotten one virus that was spread through it, but usually you have to run the file you receive. As long as you do not run that file, you are safe. Usually viruses in there start from one infected person and spread through their friends list. i think it is better than xfire for example.
