I'm going into my third undergraduate year and have yet to take a course on thermodynamics and statistical physics, and want a book to learn from on my own: is https://www.amazon.com/dp/1577666127/?tag=pfamazon01-20 a good book for learning the important topics of thermodynamics/stat mech.? I especially want to focus on the GRE's list of concepts:

From what I've heard, it's on the level of Griffith's texts in terms of popularity. I've never had a chance to read it, however.

Thanks for the response, Pengwuino. Would a book such as this one cover the material one would need to know for the Thermo/Stat Mech. portion of the GRE (and stuff (s)he should know if they will be holding a B.S. in physics)?
