SUMMARY

The discussion centers on JNaudlin's concept of a reactionless drive, specifically referenced in the provided link. Participants express curiosity about the validity of the claims made regarding this method of space flight and its operational mechanics. One contributor speculates that the drive's motion may depend on energy dissipation through heat and sound, raising concerns about resource efficiency in spacecraft. Overall, the conversation highlights the need for further experimentation and validation of the reactionless drive concept.

i was doing some research on future methods of space flight when i noticed something called a reactionless drive . impulse if you will.

i was wondering if what the info says has been confirmed and if so how it works .

Did you try the experiment shown in the URL link?

Without trying it myself, my guess is that the direction of motion relies one of the masses dissipating its energy as heat and sound.
IMHO this would seem wasteful use of what is usually a valuable recourse on board a space craft.
