The discussion centers around coping with cold temperatures, specifically a reported indoor temperature of 10°C (50°F) and the challenges of working in such conditions. Participants express varying opinions on what constitutes "cold," with some arguing that 10°C is merely cool compared to much colder climates, such as those experienced in northern regions where temperatures can drop significantly below freezing. Suggestions for staying warm include wearing hats, flannel-lined jeans, and thick socks, while humorously referencing historical clothing like codpieces. Anecdotes about extreme cold experiences, such as frozen sewer lines and the need for warmth during outdoor activities, add a lighthearted tone. The conversation also touches on the idea of shoveling snow as a way to keep warm and the shared experiences of dealing with cold weather across different locations. Overall, the thread combines practical advice with humor and personal stories about winter weather challenges.

Most importantly if the temperature is below freezing ,don't stick your tongue on the pump handle. I know, I know what is a pump handle right?
edward, tongues should never be stuck on extra cold things, it ruins the taste for the warmer things.
