AI Thread Summary
To determine if carbon is sp3 or sp2, one must examine its molecular geometry. Carbon is classified as sp2 if it exhibits a trigonal planar shape, while it is sp3 if it has a tetrahedral configuration. This classification is directly related to the hybridization of the carbon's orbitals. Understanding these geometric arrangements is crucial for identifying the hybridization state of carbon atoms. Accurate identification of sp3 and sp2 carbon is essential in organic chemistry.

How do you know whether a carbon is a sp3 carbon or a sp2 carbon?

Is this with regards to hybrid orbitals?

If it is, you have to look at its molecular geometry. It's sp2 if it's trigonal planar, sp3 if it's tetrahedral.

I don't get how to argue it. i can prove: evolution is the ability to adapt, whether it's progression or regression from some point of view, so if evolution is not constant then animal generations couldn`t stay alive for a big amount of time because when climate is changing this generations die. but they dont. so evolution is constant. but its not an argument, right? how to fing arguments when i only prove it.. analytically, i guess it called that (this is indirectly related to biology, im...
