I don't use anything - I just type what I want in LaTeX directly into the text window. I use LaTeX mostly just for integrals and matrices, and sometimes when I want fractions to look nice.

I normally don't use LaTeX for exponents and subscripts - I use BB tags that you can get from the extended menu when you click Go Advanced.

Have you tried LyX?

No.I'm talking about a windows binary software(Not sure what this means ).
I want to write a document in something like MS word. The problem with MS word is that it's equation editor produces ugly letters.
For example,I want to write a letter to the president and to include a nice equation in it and print it on a paper.
