SUMMARY

Many job opportunities in Chemical Engineering (ChemE) and Materials Science require a master's degree, making it challenging for graduates with only a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) to secure employment. The discussion highlights concerns about maintaining a GPA of 3.0, which is often a minimum requirement for advanced degree programs. Graduates may face significant barriers in the job market without further education or specialized skills.

I still have a long ways to go but it seems like many of the jobs require a master's degree. Due to some past mistakes, I may not be able to maintain my 3.0 that I currently have all the way through until graduation.
