Discussion Character

  • Homework-related, Exploratory

Main Points Raised

  • One participant requests recommendations for a mechanics problems book that is intermediate in difficulty.
  • Another participant recommends "Introduction to Classical Mechanics With Problems and Solutions" by David Morin, expressing a positive opinion about it.
  • A follow-up question is posed regarding the level of difficulty of the problems in Morin's textbook.
  • The recommending participant describes the range of problems in Morin's book, indicating that it includes both typical introductory university problems and more challenging ones, with difficulty levels indicated by stars.

I really like Introduction to Classical Mechanics With Problems and Solutions by David Morin. It's great!

Thanks roeb :-)

BTW, can i know the level of difficulty of problems in the textbook you have mentioned??

It spans a fairly wide range. They have typical problems that you'd see in a intro university physics book and also some really hardcore stuff that blows your mind. He stars the problems in terms of difficulty.
