Metal matters and nano technology

I have always thought that people on this planet could invent nano technolgy its like another step from ordinary technology and it improves things like electricity and power to travel in space and I believe it won't be out until 2090 or 3100 so it won't be long until I find more about this so any got any ideas on matal light metal electro magna attract metal or static metal plastic I need to know more about this.
